These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern purchases made through the Senate Servers online store. By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Nature of Purchases
Purchases made through the Senate Servers store are completed using real-world currency.
In exchange for this payment, users receive digital currency or digital items for use exclusively within Senate Servers Imperial Roleplay.
These purchases are made to support the server’s operation and development and are provided on a voluntary basis.
2. Digital Currency & Virtual Goods
The digital currency provided by Senate Servers:
Is delivered electronically
Has no real-world monetary value
Is non-redeemable
Cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred outside of Senate Servers
Cannot be converted back into real-world money
Digital currency and items are usable only within Senate Servers and subject to server rules and limitations.
Prize Draws (Raffles)
From time to time, Senate Roleplay may offer promotional prize draws (“Prize Draws”). Prize Draws are conducted purely for entertainment and community engagement purposes.
No purchase is required to enter any Prize Draw.
A free method of entry is available by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Prize Draw Entry”, including the entrant’s account username. Free entries receive the same chance of winning as all other entries.
Prize Draw winners are selected at random from all valid entries.
Use of Credits and Prize Draws
Credits may be used to directly purchase digital services or items where explicitly stated.
Participation in Prize Draws is not conditional upon the purchase or use of Credits.
Credits are not required to enter Prize Draws and do not increase the likelihood of winning.
No Gambling
Senate Roleplay does not offer gambling services.
Prize Draws are structured to comply with applicable UK laws relating to free prize draws and promotional competitions.
There is no requirement to stake money, no opportunity to cash out, and no system of wagering, betting, or odds.
Age Requirement
Participation in Prize Draws and the purchase of Credits is restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older.
By using this service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
General
Senate Roleplay reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw Prize Draws at any time where required for legal, operational, or compliance reasons.
3. Delivery & Completion of Purchase
A purchase is considered complete once the digital currency or digital items have been delivered to the user’s account.
Once delivery has occurred:
Senate Servers has fulfilled its obligations
The transaction is final, subject only to statutory consumer rights
Users are responsible for ensuring:
Correct account details are used
They are logged into the correct account at checkout
4. Right to Cancel & Refund Policy (UK & EU Compliance)
4.1 Digital Content Rights
Under UK and EU consumer protection law, digital content is not eligible for a refund once:
Delivery has begun, and
The consumer has expressly requested immediate delivery, and
The consumer has acknowledged that their right to cancel is lost once delivery begins
By completing a purchase on this store, you:
Request immediate delivery of digital currency or items
Acknowledge that once delivery begins, your right to cancel is waived
4.2 Refunds
Refunds are not provided once delivery has occurred
Refunds will only be issued where required by law
Refunds will not be issued for:
Accidental purchases
Loss of access due to bans or rule violations
Changes to gameplay, balance, or server systems
Loss of interest or inactivity
5. Server Changes & Digital Content Modifications
Senate Servers reserves the right to:
Modify, rebalance, or remove digital items or features
Change store offerings
Update or discontinue server content
These changes do not entitle users to refunds.
6. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity on your account, including purchases.
Senate Servers is not responsible for:
Shared accounts
Purchases made by third parties with access to your account
Lost access due to compromised login credentials
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes may result in:
Removal of digital currency or items
Suspension or permanent banning from the server and store
Loss of access to future purchases
Chargebacks should only be used where legally justified.
8. Suspension & Termination
Senate Servers reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to:
The store
Digital currency
Server services
This may occur due to:
Rule violations
Abuse of store systems
Fraudulent activity
9. Limitation of Liability
All digital goods and services are provided “as is”.
Senate Servers is not liable for:
Loss of digital currency due to server wipes, resets, or changes
Downtime or technical issues
Losses caused by misuse of store services
10. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time.
Continued use of the store after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Contact & Support
### 1. Nature of Purchase
Custom Jobs are classified as **digital content and a bespoke service** created specifically at the user’s request.
By purchasing a Custom Job, you acknowledge that:
- The product is **custom-made and personalised**
- Work may begin shortly after purchase
- The service includes manual development, configuration, and integration

### 2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
All Custom Job purchases are **non-refundable**.
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you agree that:
- You **explicitly consent** for work to begin immediately after purchase
- You **waive your 14-day right to cancel** once work has started
As this is a **custom, personalised digital service**, refunds will not be provided once:
- Development has started, or
- The Custom Job has been delivered
Refunds will only be considered where **legally required**.

### 3. Inactivity Policy
Custom Jobs must remain in active use to retain their active status.
- After **1 month of inactivity**, a **first warning** will be issued via Discord
- After **2 months of inactivity**, a **second warning** will be issued
- After **3 months of inactivity**, the Custom Job will be **archived**
“Inactivity” is defined as a lack of meaningful use of the Custom Job in-game.

### 4. Archiving & Removal
If a Custom Job is archived:
- It will be removed from active gameplay access
- It may be disabled, hidden, or removed from available job selections
- Data may be retained for restoration purposes
We reserve the right to archive Custom Jobs without further notice if the above conditions are met.

### 5. Re-Activation Fee
Archived Custom Jobs may be restored upon request.
- A **£75 re-activation fee** is required
This fee covers:
- Reconfiguration
- Compatibility updates
- Reintegration into current server systems
Re-activation is not guaranteed if the job no longer fits current server standards, systems, or balance.

### 6. Service Limitations & Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, rebalance, or adjust Custom Jobs at any time for gameplay balance or technical reasons
- Refuse or alter requested features that may negatively impact the server
- Deny re-activation if the job is no longer suitable for the server
Custom Jobs do not grant ownership of any underlying assets, systems, or server infrastructure.

### 7. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a Custom Job, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these terms
- You agree to the refund waiver and service conditions
- You accept that this is a **non-refundable, custom digital service**
